Men's Retreat at Louis Lake Lodge - August 18-19th
Men, plan to come up to Louis Lake Lodge on August 18-19th.  Please meet at noon at the picnic area on the north side of the lake for lunch on Saturday. We will wrap things up with breakfast at 7:30 am on Sunday.  The time will include three meals, a place to sleep, and opportunities to hang out and do activities together.  Possible activities: skeet shooting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, etc...  Feel free to bring your fishing pole, kayak, and any fun lake activities.  Suggested donation to help cover expenses: $20.  Please RSVP via text or call to Joseph Brock or Amy Applegate.

All-Church ATV Ride - Save the date for our All-Church ATV Ride:  August 25th.

This year's ride is a reschedule of the one that was cancelled last year - Gold Country Tour which includes a private tour of the Carissa mine at 2:30 pm. Please meet at the church parking lot at 8:00 am.
Things to ponder:

  • The trip is about seven hours in length and will cover 30+ miles.  We should be back to the trailhead by 4:30-5:30 pm.
  • Any mechanically sound ATV 2 or 4 wheel drive can negotiate this trip (also side by sides).
  • We suggest all riders and drivers under the age of 18 use brain buckets/helmets.
  • If the weather is clear you will want to bring a camera - the vistas are outstanding.
  • We have some extra machines so if you are interested in coming along please visit with us.
  • What about food?  It is suggested you bring many items from the important food groups i.e. candy, cookies, chocolate...you get the idea :)
  • Do bring fluids!

Looking forward to riding with you and sharing a day in God's creation!
